The potential of virtual reality (VR) in the field of emergency rescue operations is vast and unexplored. This research project aimed to identify and explore possible scenarios for implementing VR in the rescue chain with helicopters in the challenging terrain of the Alpine region.

The study will focused on developing VR simulations that could provide critical training to rescue teams in a safe, controlled environment.
